Jams & Preserves Made with Real Fruit

Dating back to the 11th century, cooks in the Middle East are known as the first to make jams and preserves. The most important part of a fruit spread? You guessed it – fruit! The choice of fruit adds flavour and varying levels of natural sweetness and textures.

Both our jam and fruit preserve ranges are lovingly crafted from ripe, sweet, fleshy and juicy fruits grown in Egypt. Experience a fragrant real fruit aroma, the bold taste of stewed fruit upfront followed by its bright, fresh finish.

Our 45% fruit jam has a nice, spreadable texture with varying chunky fruit bits — almost like a thick fruit purée.

Our fruit preserve is almost like a compote—but with its large 75% chunks of meltingly-soft fruit.

Despite Egypt’s harsh weather conditions for agriculture, the country is known to be home to a variety of fruits as a result of the Nile River and its soil. The road from Cairo to Alexandria is lined with mega-farms growing strawberries, mangos and citrus fruit bound for foreign shores. In what was desert just decades ago, luxury produce now sprouts from the Egyptian earth.
